Several years ago, a group of retired friends adopted Goodson Dell, a small South Taranaki District Council reserve in Hawera. Combining hard work with lots of socialising and fun has enabled Goodson Guerrillas to develop this reserve from a largely inaccessible, weed infested gully to a lovely shady retreat that can be used and enjoyed by locals.

Weedbusters was pleased to present the Goodson Guerrillas with a regional award for their work. South Taranaki District Council added to this with commemorative medals for each of the group as a special thanks from their Parks and Reserves department.
